It is completely true that no one has ever achieved and sustained success in any field unless they have a passion for what they are doing. Success requires commitment, optimism in the face of roadblocks, and usually long hours of work leading only to incremental improvement in the immediate future. In order to have those three objectives met, passion must be present.
However, passion without a purpose is like the energy of a lightning bolt. It is immense and powerful, yet ultimately does not create any productive use. Therefore the passion within a person must be built around and structured into a focus, or if you will, a purpose.
From July 24 through July 28, a unique online, interactive conference is being held to address these needs. Titled the Passion & Purpose Online Summit (Facebook, Twitter), over five days registrants will learn from experts in the fields such as human psychology, motivation/inspiration, business, and more. Those unable to log-in to the sessions at the starting times of 10AM, 1PM, 4PM & 8PM Eastern Daylight Time will have access to recorded versions. This Summit peresents a rare opportunity for personal growth, as stated by the Summit’s founder, Dr. Ty Richardson:
“We have authors, entrepreneurs, and experts from all walks of life coming together for this online summit. These remarkable professionals are committed to sharing their expertise and experience with our audience that is authentic, inspiring, entertaining and useful in the real world.”
An example of the twenty speakers presenting at the Passion & Purpose Online Summit is Arthur Woods (Twitter). An economist and writer who is expert on the future of work in the modern economy, he gained practical experience in the field developing the operations of YouTube for Schools. He also ater managed the development of YouTube’s first guide for education and co-organized YouTube’s inaugural Education Summit. Arthur Woods not only understands and can speak to the future of work, he is one of its on-going creators.
In terms of assisting those who have not discovered the focus or purpose for their own passionate self, another speaker is Tiffany Silver (Facebook). She has traveled and studied throughout India, Israel, Hungary and Thailand. Her book, Silver to Gold – The Alchemy of the Feminine Heart is focused on how to transform limiting beliefs that hold one back from achieving life goals.
A third expert presenter is psychologist, educator and author Dr. Gil Tippy (Twitter). He is co-Author of Respecting Autism with Stanley Greenspan, MD, and founder of the Rebecca School, while serving as its Clinical Director. He has evaluated hundreds of children from the Developmental, Individual Difference, Relationship-base perspective, having been mentored by Dr. Stanley Greenspan, the late creator of the DIR model. Dr. Tippy also has a large clinical practice in Oyster Bay, New York offering consulting to private individuals and organizations. Just because one has a disability does not preclude them from having a passion for life and a purpose within it.
Passion & Purpose Online Summit will also offer Experiences, a video collection of everyday people sharing their 5 life lessons and experiences in short segments that will be streamed throughout the Summit in-between speakers. “We feel everyone has an experience to share to inspire our audience and we didn’t want to limit sharing to our incredible speakers,” Richardson explains.
A further intriguing aspect of the Passion & Purpose Online Summit is the varying levels of participation for the audience. All regsitrants will be able to access the 30 minute presentations.
Those wishing to pay a small premium over the standard registration price will have a one hour VIP Special Access to the speakers and presenters in a small group setting for a special question and answer session.
Lastly, the Summit is also being a good corporate citizen. Registrants are encouraged to give to the Passion & Purpose Global Non-Profit Fund which will distribute the funds to five selected non-profit organizations. For its part, the Summit itself is donating 5% of the net proceeds to the five global causes. More information on the Global Non-Profit Fund and the life-impacting causes it supports will be announced on the Passion & Purpose web site and its Media section.
